It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that my husband, Freddy Mankuta, passed away suddenly on March , 2011. We would have been married 42 years this August. We have two wonderful children and four beautiful grandchildren and we miss him very much. Please pass this information along to his classmates. He was always so proud to be an Alumni of Bethpage High School. Sincerely, Toby Mankuta & Family.

I got this email on 18 Dec 2011 from Freds wife Toby.  Freddy, to me, was a big loveable Teddy Bear that everyone in our class loved.  I hope he had a wonderful live. He will be missed.         Vic Vreeland

I am told Kathleen left us in 1995—Just heard about her passing recently.  So sad when ever it was.

15 August 2012—Our high school brother and friend was killed in a plane crash.

I recall lots of times together with Walter from grade school thru high school.  You always knew when he was around because you would hear him laugh.  He told me in an email regarding his bio for this site, “I still enjoy laughing.”  Another part of our lives gone, but we still have the wonderful memories.      Vic Vreeland

Walters’ obit and a place to leave your memories.
